Tokyo, Japan - Ministry of Movement Pte. Ltd. (SWAT) is the only Singaporean start-up among the 16 mobility start-ups accepted into the latest Winter/Spring 2020 Batch of Plug and Play Japan. As part of the program, SWAT will work with Plug and Play and its partners to accelerate its Japan launch. Plug and Play connects the world’s largest corporations to the best start-ups globally and was an early investor in tech heavyweights like Google and Paypal.

The program supports start-ups with market entry into Japan by providing access to large corporate partners and growth resources. SWAT will be able to connect with cross-vertical partners, forge working relationships with local governments and media, and gain business insight through feedback from potential partners and clients. SWAT plans to quickly connect with relevant businesses in the mobility space and rapidly launch commercial projects.

“Plug and Play will help us accelerate our entry into the promising Japanese market. We see great potential to help organisations in Japan improve the efficiency of transport provision through SWAT’s demand-responsive transport technology,”

said Mr. Masashi Suehiro, SWAT’s General Manager and Country Head.
