Evgeni Makarov is the Chief Technology Officer at SWAT and has joined the company from almost the very beginning. He leads the development of the SWAT’s vehicle routing problem optimisation system, which has achieved the world’s best results in Li & Lim benchmark.

Prior to joining SWAT, Evgeni worked in a fintech company in Spain and a vehicle telematics company in Singapore. He has also collaborated with IHPC A-Star Institute on public transportation network analysis. Evgeni holds a Ph.D. in physics and mathematics and has spent almost 10 years on theoretical and applied physics research in scientific institutions.
