Ten local founders had this very special opportunity last Friday (10 January) to have a meal with the Prime Minister and shared their thoughts about Singapore’s startup scene. Mr Jarrold Ong, co-founder and CEO of SWAT, is one of the 10 lucky homegrown startup owners that were hosted by the PM at the Istana.
In the caption of his Facebook post on 11 January, PM Lee said he had a candid discussion with the founders about the “challenges of doing business and attracting top talent in Singapore”.
After learning about their needs, he also said the Government “will continue to find new and innovative ways to support local businesses”.
